Homemade Mineralizing Toothpaste

Every once in a while I take a look at the products in my household and decide whether or not it makes sense to switch it out or make it myself. We have been buying natural toothpaste but it gets pricey! I found this great recipe from one of my favs, Dr. Axe. You can use a mason jar with a lid or get the tubes, we got the tubes, more easier for the kids. The Thieves not only helps fight cavities but is a great immunity booster!  We love it! I hope you do to!

Homemade Mineralizing Toothpaste

this is for one tube-so if you want more you should double or triple, Also- I do Thieves only because my kids think Peppermint is too spicey!


* 4 tbsp coconut oil

* 2 tbsp baking soda

* 1 tbsp xylitol powder

* 20 drops Thieves Essential Oil

* 20 drops Peppermint essential oil

* 30 drops Trace Minerals

* Toothpaste Tubes


1. Put all ingredients into bowl and mix well together. (You can also use a food processor for this)

2. Remove homemade toothpaste and store in glass jar with a lid. If it starts to dry out, add a bit of water
