Ok…lets talk Tylenol Pm! I mean who hasn’t taken it right? I’m not gonna lie, I took it quite often, there was a point when I thought maybe I wasn’t going to be able to have a good nights sleep without it!
When I started on my oil journey one of the major reasons for trying oils was to help relax my nerves and help me wake up refreshed and energized, I mean usually when you get a good nights sleep you should wake that way. I use to wake up many times and not be able to go back to sleep.
Everyone’s body is different and may react to EO’s differently. For example- lavender used topically gets me wired!! Diffused, not too bad. I had to experiment with a few different oils and blends to see which was the one that was right for me.
Lets start with Valor! I was in love at once with its smell! I use this oil for my nerves and moody temper, it is a blend of Spruce, rosewood, blue tansy, and Frank. Unfortunately because of its popularity it is OOS but they have replaced it with Valor II which is just as amazing!! I couldn’t stop hearing about Cedarwood and how amazing it was so immediately I thought, these two would make a great blend for bedtime! If you know me, you know I do not travel without my oils. I have to use this nightly! I apply this oil sometimes in the middle of the night when I can’t go back to sleep, I apply to the bottom of my feet, wrists, behind my ears, and my lower spine. The minute my husband sees me apply it he know it’s “lights out!”
Sleepy Time Blend
- 15 drops of cedarwood
- 15 drops of valor or valor II
- Fill rest up with carrier oil
- I use a 15ml because I use it nightly!
