2018 for me was a year of Spiritual Growth, breaking down Fears, doing scary shit, and not giving a F what people think. I meditated more than I ever had at a life changing retreat that will forever change me. I stopped eating animal protein. I started leading by example instead of following an example. I learned about akashic records and connected with beautiful souls that think like me. I learned Reiki 1 and 2, and try to practice often. I feel things now that I never had before.
So you might ask me, “now what?”
I know everything I learned in 2018 has set me up for 2019. I learned a lot and grew a lot, But Im not perfect. I still raise my voice at my kids, crave cheese and turkey bacon, and still think negative at times. But even if your 2018 didn’t look like mine, It looked like YOURS! The way is was suppose to be.
So in 2019 I hope you stop waiting for things to get better, and stop being so damn negative and instead change your mindset, change your words, then start taking action to MAKE things better. Be brave and fearless, and do shit that scares you!
In 2019 I hope you speak your truth and stop caring what others will think of you. If you are passionate about something, speak it! If you know speaking your truth may help someone or show an example to a loved one, DO IT.
In 2019 I hope you learn to love yourself, Not just the inside, but the outside as well. Meditate and Pray more. Start speaking words of kindness to yourself. You ARE Beautiful, You ARE Worthy, You ARE Love! Show your children that to love yourself if the most important thing in this world, then show them to love others.
In 2019 I hope you stop repeating bad patterns, release what does not serve you and do what makes you happy. Release and find a new healthy pattern. Drink more water, eat more greens, eat less animal protein and raise your frequency by taking walks on the beach or in your backyard. Ground yourself and feel the earth beneath you. Its ok to be quiet with your own mind. Even though sometimes thats scary….So do it. DO SCARY SHIT!
In 2019 I hope you relax and stop rushing. Take time to present with your family and in those small moments that we will never get back. Put down your phone, camera, video and watch through your own eyes. Watch your children play sports, and dress up, watch them read, and eat, THROUGH YOUR EYES! Not your phone.
In 2019 I hope you stop this “Mom Guilt” bullshit and realize that just because a friend posted a picture on social media about their perfect family outing, doesn’t mean you should feel guilty about staying at home ALL winter break! ITS OK!!! THEY STILL LOVE YOU AND YOU ARE A DAMN GOOD MOM!!! We are all just doing the best we can. So tell one mom a day stranger, or friend… “You are a good mom!” I promise you will make their day.
Lastly in 2019 I hope you smile more. Be happy. Choose kindness. When in anger, do not choose words that will hurt, choose kind words or be silent. The anger will pass, but those words can scar. Be nice to people, serve more, give more. Not just to others but yourself as well. Take time for Self care, do things that MAKE you smile more. Take responsibility for your own happiness. It’s within you!
